Where have I been . . . .

So I have gone a few weeks without Internet & I am finally back on. So there was quite the gap between posts & unfortunately there was quite a gap between workouts. So here we are back on it. A few new things . . . I met up with an old friend over face book & I am not sure if I mentioned this yet or not, but we have started weekly weigh-ins with each other & I am oh so excited. It has helped me stay focused and though I haven't had weight loss in the last few weeks it has at least kept me honest, about the weight i did gain.

Tonight I made myself some paper chains. You know those things you made for Christmas countdowns back in grade school. Well I made one for my countdown for weight loss. 52 chains later it is now hanging on my wall. As I have lost or lose pounds each week . . . I will break a chain. I am hoping this physical action will help me realize that I also am breaking that cycle or habit.

One thing my darling friend (we will call her Sally, for the sake of this blog) is each week Sally & I are setting a goal. Somewhere we want to weigh in at. So you know as well my goal for weigh in next week is to be at 179.5. That would be down 1.3 lbs. I'll get back on track of blog post. So my CW workout was running on the treadmill in intervals of walking for 90 seconds & running for a minute, for 30 minutes total. Now my knee is killing me. My reason: Today I just want it.

Now off to clean house . . . because a clean house though I hate to clean it . . . a clean house is so much better to wake up to than a dirty one.
